Last friday, the city of Libourne, gateway to Saint-Emilion vineyards, has opened a second pontoon.

Given the consistent growth of the river cruise sector in the region, this infrastructure was essential to strengthen this dynamic. From now on Libourne can welcome up to 4 river cruise ships at the same time against 2 previously.

The Cité du Vin, a unique cultural centre dedicated to the universal, living heritage of wine, has opened its doors to the public June 1st, 2016.

The Cité du Vin aspires to become an emblematic centre of excellence and a true gateway to the Bordeaux vineyards. The interactive and sensory scenic course, demonstrates the expertise related to wine. Each visitor is also offered the opportunity to taste a glass of wine inside an exceptional space, the Belvédère, 35 metres up on the eighth floor
