Inauguration of ‘Ponton Ariane’ on Quai des Chartrons in the presence of Nicolas Florian, the Mayor of Bordeaux, Patrick Bobet, president of Bordeaux Métropole and Stéphan Delaux, president of the local river development, management and operations authority.
5 metres wide with 45 metres of docking space, the ‘Ponton Ariane’ was designed to welcome tall ships, superyachts, river cruise ships and military ships with a maximum height of 110 m and a maximum load of 3500 tons.
The jetty is equipped with access to drinking water and sanitation. From 2020, it will have access to electricity as part of the project to install electricity on the jetties along Quai des Chartrons.
